The National Black Genealogy Summit has announced its Pre-Summit Program, focusing on family health history, foundations of genealogical research, a librarians track, and information sharing. It will be Thursday, October 20. The Pre-Summit is FREE and open to the public.
Topics range from "Mind Over Matter: The Will to Better Health" to "Black Sheep, Skeletons, Scandals, Oh My! Engaging Family in Genealogy Research." There will also be a Q&A panel during the lunch break. There is something for everyone at the NBGS Pre-Summit.
